Lightbulb "traffic shaping"

Hi,

I like the idea of giving as much to the LimeWire community as possible. However, I use someone elses' resources to access the LimeWire network. This means I am using their scarce bandwidth resource. They don't care what happens out of hours, but during the day they get quite irate if you generate a lot of traffic. 10 hosts can generate almost as much traffic as the main proxy server serving several thousand users...

What I'd like to see is a function whereby I can schedule the number of hosts my servent should connect to hour by hour - so for instance at night when there is little traffic on the network, I open to more hosts, but during the day when bandwidth is scarce, it throttles back to one or two connections. This would be most easily implemented (I'm guessing here) by either having a "table" you fill in with hour/host number or a scheduling function where you say "at 7PM connect to 10 hosts" "at 6AM connect to 4" At 8AM connect to 2" and so on.

I think this would be quite valuable for many other users in similar situations.

Thanks for the great product.
