Im having the same problem with java not being found. Im not sure what you mean by "j2jre" directory. I have a jre directory. i.e

/usr/javaj2sdk1.4.0_02/jre/bin

I dont know much about Linux actually. I just want to get this thing working now, dont want it to defeat me if you know what I mean
