I am seeing the same problem. I ran ConflictCatcher's conflict test, and with all items disabled I
still got the error, so it doesn't appear to be a software conflict, unless one of the basic system files is corrupted.
I first noticed the problem after trying to upgrade the free version from 2.5.5 to 2.6.0. When I tried to downgrade back to 2.5.5 I still had the problem, which I hadn't had before, so that's why I think there may be a system file corruption--but I don't want to re-install the system until I've exhausted all other possibilities. I even upgraded to Pro, v. 2.5.5, and the problem
still exists!!
I noticed that the installer is giving me one "non-fatal" error:
<<Custom Action: com.limegroup.install.SettingsTranslator
Status: ERROR
Additional Notes: ERROR - class com.limegroup.install.SettingsTranslator.install() Unexpected Fatal Error:>>
My particulars are: OS 9.2.2 on a 7300 upgraded with a PowerLogix 360 MHz G3; 4 GB system HD with 500 MB free & 2 MB secondary HD; 400 MB RAM; VM disabled; Cable Modem--always on.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
