you almost certainly haven't lost any files - just go to "tools" and then select "options"
one of the things listed will then be "sharing" - and one of the things will be "saving" if you click on "saving" you'll see where your downloads are/go and if you click on "sharing" you'll see the directory you nominated/accepted during installation as being available for uploads - its this/these "sharing" directories that show up in "library"
