As for the whole college issue.. Since im a college student myself typing this in my dorm room right now i agree that if i was to donate money i would want to go to education because thats what i donated the money for.

But this is a ligitimate issue and which does affect all p2p programs especially gnutella users who were regular loyal and good gnutella users before all of a suddent are cut off. That is not good for a decentralized network like gnutella.. So i dont think that the should have been deleted, maybe clsoed or even split out the insulting into a seperate thread and close that, but this isnt the only P2P forum on the internet and this isnt the only gnutella forum on the internet either.

Anyways what im shocked is the lack of options that students have.. For alot of things. I and i think many other students would be happy just to have a different choice for internet, I think students would be able pay extra for unblocked service to add on to the current costs which is included in rent. Or why dont universities coorporate with or take bids from cable/phone companies to offer students dsl or cable internet connection for the smester?

It wouldnt be that hard to do and really it benifits everyone.. The univerisity could use the extra fees for more bandwidth to support it or even get commission from the phone/cable companies for people who use that on campus which wouldnt use any lan bandwidth. Students would get what they want and they get a alternative when now they really dont have any.
