As you are posting your question here, I assume you want to know how to connect to using Gnutella. In Xolox you can add the IP and port of the computer you want to connect to in the 'network' tab in the preferences. (that computer has to be logged in also) If you computer connects to that one (not assured in Xolox) you can search for the files you want there. Xolox does not yet support host browsing so it really is not that practical. The easiest thing to do (if possable) is to use CDs, and p2p is really silly to use when the computers are close together (same house for example)
