I dont have an option on the limewire screen anywhere to save downloads either and when I look everywhere on my computer, I just cant find the songs I have downloaded completely...

Assuming you are using a flavor of windows (you din't mention your environment) the files usually will default to
C:\program files\limewire\shared Should you have changed this the location can be found in Limewire under
Tools - Options - Saving once ther look under the heading of
Save Directory
