I am sorry for your misfortune--but I assume you downloaded this from an untrusted site and not the limewire site. As I have downloaded versions of their software from them without issue.
This I'm sure will turn out to be a valuable lesson to you about the hazards of computing in an environment where there are people praying on novice users.
