It means that when a newer version of Limewire is released you can go to a special download page and get that new version (The Pro version - without any ads) and download it and upgrade for free. You can do this for any new version released until your 6 months is up. After that, you can continue to use your Pro version without ads even if newer versions come out but you just can't upgrade the ad free version without paying again. Hope this helps
