G'day from Oz.

Not really sure what you are referring to here, but do you mean LimeWire stalls on trying to load in old partial & queued downloads? I've never seen the 'messages' bit.

Just a guess, but you could have a corrupt 'downloads.dat' file in your 'Incomplete' folder.

That's the LimeWire downloads data file, in the folder that LimeWire partially downloads and queues to.

On completion, the files are moved out to your nominated downloads folder.

Try moving everything out of 'Incomplete' (DON'T trash them), and re-start LimeWire.

If LimeWire starts OK, you'll have to start all your searches & downloads again.

If LimeWire still doesn't work, move everything back again. If you get a 'do you want to replace' message, it means LimeWire has somehow replaced 'downloads.dat'. However, this really should not happen until you commence your first download.

If that doesn't work, I really don't know. Sorry.

Regards
