Thanks Richard for all your help. I tried your
last suggestion, but that still did not fix the
problem. I read in another posting that java
did not work the same in kernel 2.4.x. What
kernel are you running? I am running 2.4.6.
If you are using 2.4.x, is there a switch that
is special for java?
