Make sure you configure your firewall properly to allow limewire to connect. A faster way to connect is to double-click on one of the groups in the community tab. For example click North America and then connect. It sometimes takes a couple of minutes to find enough good hosts. The third reason why you cannot connect is if the main servers are down.
