I installed 2.8 today and it has been a disapointment. It is slower, it will only connect in leaf mode ( and gives only about the 20% of search results when in leaf mode in 2.7).

I am running exactly the same set up as when I was using 2.7. OS X 10.2 on G4. I have a cable connection.
