First use the "uninstall" application in the Limewire folder to clean out your old Limewire. You can trash the "err.txt" and the "out.txt" files if you see those on your desktop too.

You'll need a fresh download of the right installer--for OS 9.2. Go to http://www.limewire.com/index.jsp/download_other; it's called "Macintosh (NoVM) "

Your Java is up to date. If you are afraid that Java may be messed up, you can reinstall it by downloading Mac OS Runtime for Java (MRJ) 2.2.5 from here http://developer.apple.com/java/download.html
