I use Limewire on a Mac PBG4 in OS X 10.2.4. Most of the time, I have a second display (monitor) connected, and I run Limewire on the second display. Sometimes, I disconnect the second monitor, and if I start Limewire, the application window opens as if the second display is still connected, and I can't see it!
Most other apps that remember screen position at launch seem to detect whether a second monitor is connected, and if the app was last opened in the second display, and that display is no longer connected, will open the window in the first display.
Failing a timely implementation of that behavior, is there any way to force the Limewire app to open on the primary display? So far, my only solution has been to put the computer to sleep, attach the second display, wake the computer back up, launch Limewire, and move the window back to the first display. (Of course, now the second display is open, I no longer need to move the app to the first window!) The obvious solution, which is for me to remember to move the Limewire window to the first monitor before quitting, seems to have some implementation problems....
Thanks for any comments.
