One thing i always thought Limewire should have is a better filtering system. Not just by Audio, documents, etc. but by specifc file extension, connection speed, filter out firewall users, stuff like that. It would help to remove 50 of the files that I can not download.

I always thought that a system of commands for requesting information on a file should be established. A limewire client could query info on a text file to another client and if the client supported the command it could send back what it was setup to send back. Clients could send back ID3 info for mp3s, maybe author info for Word Docs, it would all be based on the client with the file. It seems like it could happen and work, just as long as the command was not abused. Is this practical?
