Hello!
The procedure that stief describes is explained more in detail in this old thread that I participated in:
http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...threadid=12351
The posts are about iTunes but the same technique is applied when assigning Quicktime the proper formats.QT should be assigned the following formats:
aif(AIFF),,avi(vfw),dif(dvc!),dv(dvc!),flc(FLI),fl i(FLI),gsm(GSM),kar(Midi),m15(MPEG),m1a(MPEG),m1s( MPEG),m1v(MPEG),m2s(WAV),m2v(WAV),m75(MPEG),m75(WA V),mid(Midi),mid(WAV),midi(Midi),midi(WAV),moov(Mo oV),mov(MooV),mpa(MPEG),mpe(MPEG),mpeg(MPEG),mpg(M PEG),mpm(MPEG),mpv(MPEG),mpv(WAV),qcp(celp),qt(Moo V),qtl(qtlk),rts(RTSP),rtsp(RTSP),sd2(sd2f),sdp(SD P),smf(midi),smi(SMI),smil(SMI),sml(SMI),vfw(VfW), vob(MPEG),
If any of the above formats/exstensions is not assigned Quicktime on your machine then you should change it.
