Unable to get connection since upgrading to 1.5 Hi,
I have been using Xolox for several months now and was very happy with it, until upgrading to version 1.5 a few weeks ago. Since I upgraded I have got managed to make a single download connection. The Search works fine and selecting Download places the item in the Transfers list where the download status shows the searching and queing as working, but I have never had an Active since upgrading. As stated above my previous versions worked fine.
I have in my transfer list several transfers initiated under my previous (1.45?) version which are in the state of partial download (various from 9% to 63%) inherited from the previous as well as several new items added since. I am running WinXP Home from which I have disabled the Microsoft supplied firewall and instead run ZoneAllarm ver. 3.7.143. I have tried removing ZoneAlarm when Xolox is running but this makes no difference. As
the rest of the Windows internet system is running okay and the problem remains whether or not the firewall is in place I deduce that the problem lies in Xolox. I have played with the Xolox confguration but there is very little relevant for the user to configure.
I have tried uninstalling Xolox and doing a fresh install but this has had no effect. I am unable to think of anything else that I might try, hence I am writing this mail.
I am using a 56k modem and have an IP address assigned by my ISP on logon.
Any one any ideas?
