Hello!
You are probably using iTunes to burn a cd with mp3 songs right?.
You have then done the same mistake as I did when upgrading it from version 1.1 directly to version 2.0.4. I should have downloaded and installed version 2.0.1 first that included the proper version of Authoring Support that is required to burn mp3 cd's in Mac OS 9.1 or below. I can send you the proper version(version 1.1.5) that is Required by e-mail. Just mail me at:
netfox100@hotmail.com and I will send it to you. You should install(move) both the Authoring Support files folder and the Authoring Support extension inside the Mac OS 9.X SystemFolder inside the Exstension Folder. And then Re-Start your computer. Now you should be able to create mp3 cd's using iTunes and DiscBurner. To check if your CD-RW drive is compatible with iTunes and its burning software do this:
To see if iTunes works with an external drive, choose Preferences from the iTunes application menu, then click the CD Burning tab. If your drive is listed, it will work with iTunes.
