Does anyone know for sure if there is some major difference between the Linux and Window's version? I have both, and here is what I find:

1. Windows usually has 4 host connections alive and well within 5 minutes, linux sometimes takes nearly 15!

2. I seem to get more search results returned with Windows. I was under the impression that they could connect cross-platform. Was I mistaken?
