For what it's worth, my experience with Neo-Modus is not so good. When it works, you do get a steady upload/download streams but, in comparison with the PC equivalent, D++, Direct Connection is inefficient in making connection with other hosts. What compounds my problems is that there are no forums on which to get advice from the few other Mac users who are probably out there. And, so far, my e-mails to Neo-Modus asking very politely for help, have been ignored. So, as Joakim says, you might consider giving Direction Connection a try, but be prepared for just as much frustration as with Limewire.
