Your records? Another source? LimeWire is not a source. Just curious, but where did you get the idea that LW is a source of mp3's? I've read that some sites get people to pay, and that they somehow use LW's software, but that's sounds pretty misleading.
LW, like other Peer to Peer (p2p) software, offers a way for users to share files for free. If you turn your radio on and noone is broadcasting, do you blame the radio? Think of the search like scanning for stations that were or maybe are broadcasting.
You do know that if you get the "awaiting sources" message, that LW is waiting for you to repeat the search, don't you? Sources that were offered once may not be online, may be busy sharing with others, or may have deleted the file. The list of results shows you what has been available in the past (I've had hits for files I deleted months ago).
BTW, the best source for music if you're tired of waiting is the store, or if you're lucky enough to have iTunes, you can get music really quick and cheap. |
