Waiting in line isn't all that unusual and it is a result of a number of things. The traffic on the network is heavy, the owner of the file you may want has set his bandwith percentage on the low side for uploads. We are all at the mercy of one another. It is good to have a fine tuned machine and your TCP/IP tweaked to the max; however, if the conditions I cited exist at the time of your download, you could end up with any number of flys in the ointment, i.e, awaiting sources, qeued (sp?), #10 in line, etc. In most cases your equipment is fine. It is usually the demands on the network itself that will determine a fast or slow download. I also have a hihg speed connection, but there are times I want to pull my hair out. At times, patience is the keyword. Hope this helps.
