i'm not a complete limewire newbie, as i used it several years ago, but i just downloaded the latest version last night after not having used any limewire software for quite some time ...

i'm on a dsl line at home, with a few other computers also hooked up at various times. last night i was able to download several songs, left my computer on all night to finish downloads, and when i got up this morning it was running fine. my computer froze and i had to reboot, and when it came back up in windows (i'm on win 98 using a dell web pc) it loaded fine but it won't connect.

i don't think it's a firewall issue, because my sister's computer is on the same dsl line under the same firewall, and she is having no problems runing limewire.

i'm getting that thing described so often by other people, where you tell it to connect and the red button goes green for a moment and then back to red. i've also got a couple of downloads that were in progress sitting here, one at 41% and the other at 82%. i just want to finish my downloads ...

is it my computer maybe, or what? i have zone alarm, but i set it up to allow limewire to access the internet, and as i said it was working great last night. thanks if anyone can help!!
