If those crashes are not caused by your processor going to sleep (I set mine to never, and just allow the display to turn off), those crashes are probably logged in a file called LimeWire.crash.log . You can view it in the Console or just drag it onto TextEdit to look at it's contents. Chances are you'll see something like

which will tell you that it's a problem with Apple's Java Virtual Machine. Jens-Uwe Mager has already informed Apple of the problem and Apple has advised him it is fixed for Panther at least. For us now, the only voodoo I try is to shut my system down for 10 minutes to clear the memory, and on start-up make LW the first app to open
If you can't find a LimeWire.crash.log file, your Console in (Applications->Utilities) has a preference to "Enable Crash Reporting"
