It's good to play devil's advociate, and in many ways it ends up being incredibly hepful. Many additions to the program are debated internally (as well as commented on externally), and in the end the product ends up being better because everyone's voice is heard and included when theorizing how the end-result should be fleshed out.
I'm just vocalicizing how on own our end it is important to ensure that people have reasons to buy the Pro version. Encouraging Pro use will inevitably discourage Free users, but there isn't much we can do about that.
I hope that additions to the Pro version will encourage people to buy it while also keeping the Free version as or more usable (due to more supporters and ultimately more features for everyone). |
