In order to fix this, we need some information on what's causing the actual problem. Can you please click somewhere on the Desktop, then click Go -> Application, open the "Utilities" folder, and open the "Console" program? Then go back to LimeWire and try starting it. Ideally, something will be written in the Console as to why LimeWire is failing to start.
Could you please copy the information and post it in a reply in this thread?
