If you want speed you have to download from someone that has the capacity to serve the data as fast as you can pull it. It's the same situation on ANY p2p network. Shareaza has the same problem with slow downloads. Any file sharing network that claims it's faster than any other one is making that claim on what basis?

Because they are all dependent on the users for creating the networks foundation.

I have the capacity to serve a max of 120 users simultaneously. When I reach that point the throughput per users is around
12-16Kbps. I usually serve about 12-20 users simultaneously 77.2Kbps per user.

Therefore the amount of bandwidth allocated is proportional to the number of users being served.

It has nothing to do with LimeWire
