So, I should re-install my *existing* system 9.1 software, and then try installing Limewire?
Does this mean there's something corrupt within the system, or a conflict? And, re-installing would fix this?

I just want to make sure I understand what I'm doing BEFORE doing it.

Here's a thought...is there any other way to get the LW application OTHER than the downloads that need to be unstuffed, and then installed? Does it exist in any other way, any other place?

Maybe that's not the issue at all, but it does seem like the installer is the problem. Is that an obvious observation? <g>
