I was using a slightly older version of LimeWire on XP originally downloaded last year sometime. It worked fine. After it being on the wayside for 6 months or so, I tried to start it again and it wouldn't get past the LimeWire logo and gets stuck on "Loading Options Window" in the bottom right hand corner. I downloaded the newest version, but it didn't fix it. The only thing it does is run a program called Javaw.exe using 95 to 97% of my CPU and slowing down or locking up my computer until I can manage to kill the process. I have let it "Load" the options window for up to 45 minutes before killing it. Anyone know what is going on?
