So, a couple of weeks ago system update comes up and tells me its time for an update to os 10.2.8. So I update as usual and everything seems fine until I try to run LimeWire.

I figure it's a system update thing so I upgrade my earlier version of LW Pro to version 3.6.15 and still no luck.

It just sits there "loading shared files" and the only way to get out of it is to force quit.

I have tried the following fixes to no effect: deleting preferences, deleting everything; restarting; redownloading and reinstalling, downgrading Quicktime to 6.3, updating Java and removing all of my shared files.

I'm stumped. Any ideas out there?
