On the windows platform, I have seen LimeWire run on versions of Windows as early as 95 with 32 MBs of Ram. That is pushing the limits of the system, though. It is possible that LW will crash with such few resources, so watch out. You will find that LW will run excruciatingly slow. I am not sure about other operating systems, so maybe someone will chime in. :-)
