Which version were you using when it suddenly stopped working? Had you done anything between the times it was working and stopped working (such as installing a Software Update or another program)?
Are you saying that you had previously been using the Classic version and it stopped working, but earlier versions still work with Classic? Or are you saying something else?
We're looking into reports of LimeWire unexpectedly quitting, but have so far been unable to find any consistent cause, and it happens just rarely enough to make it difficult to be able to track down.
