The BEST way to protect you against the Mydoon worm is do NOT open your appendage... you should it only open from people you know!!!
Keep your Windows and Outlook up to date, there are several security holes.
And of coorse keep your virus scanner up to date!

I got it two times! It seems my friends are watching their computer better then yours. The Mydoom virus sends automatically an E-mail to all people which are in your address folder - so your options are change your E-mail client or kick your freinds in the *** and tell them to clean/watch their PC!

AFAIK E-mail is the only way and only for Outlook users! All others "should" be safe, but should always think before they open anything that they donīt know!
