A SuperDrive is an internal all in one DVD/CD reader-burner, for the non-Mac advisors here.
To make VCDs you need to convert the DVD file to the required format. I am speaking from theory here not having done it myself.
Try the following it seems to be recommended by most people who are doing it:

As a personal note, there is only a certain level at which this is worth the trouble. Consider how much you are paying for your bandwidth, how long the DL takes (the files are large), even if it is successful, the uncertainty of the quality (much of it quite bad), the time it takes to convert and burn files to the CDs (most of a day) to get a really second rate copy of a DVD you can buy for a few dollars.
Music is a different matter. the files are small, quick to download, mostly good quality and useful as they stand without conversion.
I've made a note to return to movies when the technology actually makes the results worth while. Apple is working on a movie successor to the iPod.
Maybe then s:-)
