IF, and only if you're using a Mac then you simply go to the preferences under the Limewire tab and then Advanced-->Startup and uncheck the box that enables the app to launch on startup.

If, on the other hand you are on Windoze then I have absolutely no clue whatsoever but I'm gessing that if you search a little on the tabs on the top of the window you'll find what I'm talking about in Options or Preferences or whatever they word they used to label it for PC.
