Time for the total GUI to be brought into a place closer to the reality of the market, hmmm ?

$02 . . . here: Well, not if it means diverting coders from core changes. Gnutella still has a long way to go before the core protocol is complete. Search effectiveness, uploads, downloads, bootstrapping, connectivity, CPU usage, firewalls, anonymity . . . well all those and more are core issues affecting all gnutella clients, and still have much more room for improvement.
Frankly, the research and development in those areas, I humbly suggest, are more important to us users in the long run. GUI specialists (eg Acquisition; Poisoned come to mind for OSX) are around, and LW still has a fairly good GUI itself.
All areas can be improved--it's just I'd feel somewaht resigned if LW made marketing and GUI development their priority, know what I mean?
