Limewire will not connect/ company denies purchase Hi,
I was wondering if you can help me as this is my last attempt with Limewire.
A week ago I bought the Pro version of Limewire. I've was using the free version but it became "buggy" and stopped working.
I believe I downloaded version 3.8 (??), I have a Mac G3, OS 9.2.2 and a fast DSL internet connection. I've spent 10 + hours in Limewire forums to no avail, trying to fix the Pro version you sent me which wouldn't connect.
I emailed Limewire and they replied with this :Cozi,
To receive support, please provide the email address you used to
purchase LimeWire Pro. Your email address is not in our database, and
we do not support the freeware version.

For some reason I've paid for it but they won't include me in their database and the next emails I sent to support have gone unanswered.
I find it hard to believe that any reputable company would:
a)- sell an inferior/ unuseable product with no refund
b) -have terrible customer support/ service
I love for you to restore my faith in what I believed at 1 time to be a great product, but honestly I really can't see that happening.
