This is not possible. Mac OS9.2.2 is "bullet proof."

Unless someone else is using your computer, your files are still there. Do a search for "shared" (without the quotation marks.) This is where your files should be stores. It's possible that you moved them so if there's nothing in your shared folder, do a seach for some of the songs.
