Hi. Am having same problem, but have only had it with Limewire. Stopped using kazaa because it was freezing my system. Have used WinMX successfully, but downloads were taking upwards of five hours for one song. Limewire is by far the best option for me apart from the automatic disconnect problem, and I don't have to reboot the whole thing to reconnect. I have Norton Anti-Virus and Norton Personal Firewall installed, but don't think that is the problem because I figure it would not allow me to connect at all if it was. Only thing I can think of is maybe there is a maximum idle time for downloads that causes auto disconnect. Have no idea if this is the case, but seems to be the most plausible as there are so many people having the same problem. Wouldn't have a clue how to access this information, let alone change it.
