You'll get that if you try to open an .exe file (or any application, but I'm not sure for that last one). LW refuses to open it with the Launch function for your own good: since these files are very very likely to contain viruses and other harmful stuff, it'd be best if you scanned them with an antivirus application before opening them. For example, I've dlded lately a zipped application that contained a Trojan. Fortunately, there's no such thing for Macs yet so it was ok.
Anyway, don't shuffle through your Library to open the finished dlds: instead, find the folder labeled Shared that sits in your computer and open the files from there. This will ensure that you will open them with software dedicated to playing A/V files (if such is the case of the file you want to open). You'll also be avle to scan apps and other files by going to this folder.
