S'Ok, fixed it myself. The firewall was preventing echo requests and replies (as these where for ICMP not for Gnutella itself). Now working fine and seeing lots of uploads

As an aside, Gnutella network is meant to be anonymous, but I can see the IP addresses of incoming requests (sometimes with an associated machine name), if this is the IP address of the requestor, how can the network be anonymous - or have a missed a crucial point?
