S'Ok, fixed it myself. The firewall was preventing echo requests and replies (as these where for ICMP not for Gnutella itself). Now working fine and seeing lots of uploads .

As an aside, Gnutella network is meant to be anonymous, but I can see the IP addresses of incoming requests (sometimes with an associated machine name), if this is the IP address of the requestor, how can the network be anonymous - or have a missed a crucial point?
