There's lots of free mp3 players (software) around & some are mentioned in this section of the forum. Some will convert to aiff/wav so you can burn them. Some cd burner apps will also convert mp3's to aiff/wav. For mp3's of quality (the quality ranges b/w 32-320 kbps) choose those that are 128 kbps or higher. Obviously the higher the better but also the larger the size. I've seen wav files on the netwk, but as Peerless points out, they're 8-10 times larger & will take so much longer to dwnld. I'd suggest you probably couldn't pick the difference b/w an mp3 encoded at a high bit rate compared to a wav. MP3 uses intelligent compression techniques such as combining tracks when there is no difference b/w the channels & thus reducing the size of the file.
