I"m starting (or just about to start, that is) my first download of software (I usually only share mp3's). I see these words like SN and Crack... I'm not sure what those words mean, and it's scared me a bit. If my download ever completes, does anyone know if I risk loosing the older versions that were already on my Mac? This SN (serial #, I'm assuming) thing can't cause me trouble later, like some unexpected drama cause the software retailer won't authenticate or anything? I'm reading everywhere, but am still worried. I'm trying to also check to make sure I am sharing 2, & appreciate any advice I can get.
