The best way to find more sources is to search for them. If a file doesn't resume after a search & the search rersults shows sources, delete it from the dwnld pane (below the search window) & reselect it from the search list to begin dwnlding again. Try this several times. If no success. Start the procedure over again with another search. Force Resume is wonderful 'if' it can find enough resources to connect to. If you're in a busy list, normally you'll wait til it's your turn to try to connect (but it might not connect) & if it does connect, you may find you only have a shared amount of time with others in the waiting list. After that you go back to the end of the queu. There is a p2p app that apparently can push others out of the list/further down - but that app (to my knowledge) is no longer developed. Difficulty to connect could be for a no. of reasons. As far as search alternatives, I'm not totally sure what u mean. There is advanced/extended search options. In my experience u can search for things & end up with other types of results. So some files don't necessarily fall into one search criteria/perhaps a no. due to the way they ere named.
