LimeWire 4.4 will probably not be released until november/december 2004. The next release will be LW 4.2 during the next couple of weeks.

If your free updates last till the date LW 4.4 is released the update will be free (of course). There will also be LW 4.4 basic which will also have bittorrent suport.
