Being a windows video format, I'm most surprised that Nero won't burn it to dvd or do its own conversion of it. Actually I just opened my Nero Burning ROM & Nero Xpress (v5) & burning rom can make vcd's from avi/mpg. But Xpress told me (after I selected svcd) I was lacking the codec to convert to mpeg2 (required for dvd) & to go to www.nero.com for purchasing info. I don't think my version (5) can burn dvd's anyway I don't know. Depending on your Nero version, you might be lacking the plugin.
