The Burning Issue Is the error message from your DVD player or from the media player. Update the drivers for your DVD player and get the latest codecs for your media player. After you burned your DVD, did you verify the contents? If you did and you found all files on the DVD then the issue is with your media player. If you browse the DVD and get nothing (don't forget to ask for ALL FILES) then you didn't actually burn the files to the DVD. As LOTR advised, it is a good idea to begin with an uncompressed file then compress using an mpg(insert format number) compatible with your media player. If your DVD player is very new or the compression program you are using is very new, it may be using an mp4 format that is compatable with DivX players but can cause issues for Windows Media Player and in my experience, sometimes Quicktime. The best thing to do is burn in a common format. When I first used NERO, I had problems with playability so I just generally used it for audio files. (THIS MY EXPERIENCE -- PLEASE DON'T SEND GAZILLIONS OF HATE MAIL -- I like Nero). |
