Multiculturalism breaks down a lot of barriers, but admitedly it's worked better some places than others. The troublemakers tend to be those that don't accept things & stereotype galore. And that applies to world events. It seems to be a blindness within them. It's certainly great to travel & not only speak the language & interact but to also understand the local & regional customs & cultures of countries of the world. It's one thing to communicate, it's another to fully understand the full meaning & implications of what's being communicated. I think I'll leave propaganda alone, that's an issue too big to discuss. |
