Can anyone kindly send me step-by-step instructions how to remove power liens from the facade of a building using Photoshop CS6?

I can not really give you a step by step set of instructions on how to remove something from a picture. There's usually more than one method. I suspect there are tutorials around either on the web or even within Photoshop's own tutorial section.

Personally, I usually use the Clone Stamp Tool to paint the surroundings over the top of what it is I wish to remove, as long as it's only a relatively small area without too much varied detail surrounding it which makes the process much more complicated. For example, you can clone from a point just above or below one of the power lines and clone (press your cursor) over the power line. This can take a lot of practice to get right. In your case it might be safer to create a new layer. Have the original layer selected and set the clone point (by holding down Option key or presumably Alt key for Windows and clicking where you wish to copy from). Then go to the new layer and start cloning (by clicking your cursor point where you wish to copy to.) Problem with using a different layer is forgetting the exact point you cloned from. Perhaps zoom the image as large as you can to reduce chances of this error. Another problem is if you wish to select a new clone point you need to remember to go back to the original layer.

Another very similar tool is the Healing Brush Tool.

The error received seemed to be different this time:

Error: Recipient address rejected: undeliverable address. ... No such user here.
The address you sent your message to wasn't found at the destination domain. It might be misspelled or it might not exist.

I would normally prefer to discuss this via private message but I realise you might not even see such a message.

In fact, all your messages to me through Gnutella have been reaching me regularly.
Could it be that Google is confusing my old with my new address; although I don't think so as I have never missed a communication from you via Gnutella, inspite of
the notice that you are given that your replies could not be sent.

Incidentally, how do I reply to a private message, like the latest one you sent me? Where to enter my reply? I located the REPLY button, but where to type my message to send to you? When I typed my reply, the text suddenly vanished.

Hi Joe,


I've fixed your user profile so that it now includes your new email address, rather than your old one.


To reply to a PM, first click the Reply button.
Then, you'll see a box of text with the original message that was sent to you.


Hit Enter a couple of times, so that the flashing cursor moves down the page a bit.


Next click the top of the text box, so that the flashing cursor now appears in the top left corner of the text box.



Type your reply.


Scroll down the page & click on the Submit Reply button, which is just below a little box of icons.


Once your message has been sent, you'll be returned to the main Private Messages page.


And that's it

Have managed to remove power lines from a building facade using the Content-Aware Fill Tool.


It took quite a while of trial and error, but in the end it came to my rescue.


Because i am easily confused by computer navigation, I just could not manage to solve my problem with any other method.
